Dawn's Snoopy & Peanuts Pin Wish List

Here are the Aviva Snoopy pins that I still am trying to find.  If you have any of these to swap or sell, please let me know.  I am interested in mint condition pins.  I am also collecting any of the Medallion-style charms that have Snoopy in various sports and that say Canada on them - these came in several different designs (also made by Aviva).  You can email me at purrs19@yahoo.com,  thanks!

Note:  Even though some photos are of charms - I am only interested in the PIN version of each design (except for the Medallions at the end), thanks!

Main Charm Page - Peanuts & Snoopy Aviva/UFS/other  Welcome! In an effort to document the many different charms that were made by Aviva/UFS (starting sometime in the 1970's until recently) as well as other similar charms in various forms, here is a photo gallery of the charms known to exist. They vary slightly in size depending on the design, but are all generally under 1 inch tall. Type 1: There are several "types" - most prevalent here is the Cloisonné Flat/Flush Enamel type - where the colored enamel (sometimes called Cloisonné) is smooth to the touch all the way across the charm - like Mr. Google Eyes above. Type 2: is the Hand Painted Relief/Not Flat variety - which has slightly recessed areas and slightly raised outlines that you can see and feel - like this Diving charm. Type three is an All-Metal Cut-Away type (no color) which has the design in an oval or circle with cut out sections around the main design - these are very thin charms that are either silvertone or goldtone. Type 4: There are some solid metal charms (aluminum perhaps - very light) with either black or blue coloration on silvertone like this "Conserve Energy" charm. These are fairly thick - about 1/16" thick. Type 5: Medallion Charms - these are 1 1/16" round charms (1 1/4" if you count the hanger) that Aviva made in the same material as the smaller Aviva charms. They have similar images to the smaller charms, usually having words under the image - like this "Canada" medallion. Type 6 (Everything Else!) - There are also some larger charms (made by Starline and others) that are fun to see. These charms are on average 1" to 1.5" tall - give or take. It is possible that some were off of keychains, but the Woodstock Top Hat ones (pictured below) were from earrings (head only) and a necklace (full body). On this site you can: Email New Sightings: If you know of other types of these Snoopy/Peanuts charms or have designs and variations not listed here - please email a photo of them to me at craftygirl2000@hotmail.com and I will post them here for other collectors to see. Earrings would count as charms - since they are the same if you remove the earring hardware - so check those too! Swap Your Doubles: If you have doubles that you would like to swap or sell (click here to view Cindy's Wishlist ) - you can email me craftygirl2000@hotmail.com to swap with me or you can post your email address and info about your doubles or charms needed on the Swap Page to meet other collectors. Add Your Comments or Ask Questions: This Comments Page is for comments, questions and general discussion about these great little charms - post your comments and check back often to read what is new. If you have suggestions for improving this site - please add those too and I'll see what I can do. Enjoy! Site Meter
